DMO in operation
The DMO has a website where the planetary positions are calculated and displayed. The planetarium reads the data and then puts the planets in the correct constellation.
Press PLAY to play the movies.
First, the date must be entered on the website. After pressing "Save positions" the planetarium can retrieve the positions of the planets.
The website associated with the DMO can be operated on any phone, tablet or computer. In fact, you can operate a DMO on the other side of the world via the website.
When the DMO has retrieved the coordinates, the planets first go to their checkpoint and then drive to their positions. Usually you have to wait for Saturn, because it has to make the largest round.
The software can also be used without turning on the DMO. There are various options regarding viewpoint, speeds and simulation options.
