Credits

A DMO is a complex device where different disciplines coming together: software, hardware, electronics, woodworking, installation, astronomy and design. Dozens of suppliers have contributed to this, from CADCAM sawing companies, print factories, various electronics suppliers to the local hardware stores.

Most work on the DMO has been done by me: drawing work for the CADCAM cutter, graphic design lettering, adapting JSorrery software, complete control software developed for the orrery in Python and not to forget: this Drupal website. When the work became to specialized, there were always enough people around me to give a helping hand.

Martin Vézina deserves special attention, he wrote the original JSorrery software for the planet simulation, the software can be downloaded from GitHub.
